RPL (Rannelli Placken Langlois)
Dennis Rannelli, Jerry Placken and Ron Langlois first connected musically in mid 70's although not under the RPL name. All had been playing with various local bands around the town of Espanola, Ontario. Dennis, Jerry and Ron at that time were not lead vocalists or keyboard players so versions of the group included Don Waytowich on vocals and guitars, Gary Breit on vocals and keyboards and Roger Auge on vocals. Jerry headed off to study music at Humber College in Toronto and then Music Engineering at the University of Miami in Miami Florida. Upon Jerry's return to Espanola, the group got back together and started playing cover tunes. For live events at ITB Robbie Campbell played drums with the group until his untimely passing. Steve Lachance has played drums with the group for live events since. With various generations of recording systems, they decided to write, record and perform original music. The music on this project is the result of "Decades" of effort and dedication to our band, RPL.
